I'm fixing Chili tonight...
1 lb. ground turkey or lean ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1 10 oz.can tomato soup
1 15oz can red kidney beans
1 15 oz can Chili beans
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chiles
1 Heaping teaspoon Chili powder
1 cloves garlic minced or about 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
Black pepper
For milder chili substitute a can of regular diced tomatoes and a tbl spoon of hot sauce for the green chile tomatoes.
Brown meat, add onions and green pepper when almost done and finish browning. Add other ingredients, bring to boil,reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.

Bologna Sammich Recipe
I medium slice of Carolina Pride Bologna
2 slices of Merita Bread
1 teaspoon Dukes Mayonnaise on each slice of bread
Not recommended but 1 tsp. of Grey Poupon or ketchup
1 Bag of Lays Potatoe Chips
1 12 oz. Coke
For Dessert
1 Little Debbie Raisin Cake or Oatmeal Cake. Enjoy

Pinto beans
1 bag of dry beans
1 ham hock
Look through beans for stones and dirt then wash them well. Put beans and hock in crock pot, cook on low all day if possible.
Southern as it gets lol

i have been looking for some good resipies online but all i can find is fancy non southern good food! my husband and i are tired of eating out i f figured some of you other southern ladies should have some pretty good recipies out there, so lets here em!
