Boston Butt slow cooked in the smoker. Hicory chips for smoke. I use Butt Rub (that is the brand name) along with a good hand full of brown sugar rubbed in good and place in the fridge for 12 hours. 16 to 18 hours on the smoker at 225 degrees. Will make your tongue slap your brains out good!

Boston Butt is best, IGA has them until Tuesday for $1.28 lb

Be sure and smoke it, a lot better flavor!

You can't fix authentic pulled pork on the grill. A smoker, yes; a grill, no.

Simple answer. Either pork shoulder or boston butt. Enough said.

picnic shoulder or boston butt. They both come from the shoulder area of the pig.

The only pulled pork BBQ that I have done on a grill is pork poast cut into thick pieces and slow cooked at about 300 degrees for three to four hours. Then transfered to a crock pot with additional seasonings for about 2 hous on medium heat.

I've never made it on the grill but I think Boston Butt makes the best BBQ!

What is your choice of pork meat to make homemade pulled pork BBQ on the grill ?
