All our family get together and bring a covered dish. All kind of good food, ham, meat balls, chicken, green beans deviled eggs, all kind of good food and lots of good company on Christmas Day. Decided to have Christmas eve breakfast this year with country ham, sausage balls, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and eggs and a good cup of coffee. Good time of the year to put on 20 pounds.

I put the honey on it fresh rather then done, then we glaze it in the oven and repeat the process but after to add a little sweet tecture I put pinapple slices cause I loved that kind of bakes fruit on meat We do once in awhile make them soft sweet cookie from scatch or if some perfers pies and cakes we made a red velvet with cream cheeze and my fav is the hand scratch german chocolate cake

I've never had egg nog that tasted sour...even store bought. My goodness! It is usually too sweet and rich and rich for my taste unless I make it myself .
