Seems to me that his 2 commissioner buddies are less than honorable. They allowed themselves to be influenced by a con man.

The other 2 are the best Wilkes has had in years.

If you want a good laugh, read some of the posts made by his supporters on another social media page. They are furious that the county wants to spend money on buildings.

Are they not aware that this individual along with his 2 good buddies voted to increase the county debt $32M which includes the price of a new building including the interest. He also supports building an additional building the same size so it would be at least the same price, another $32M . Some in the county were pushing for a study that might have cost the county $25,000 to study the pros and cons of the Lowes property and what it could be used for. So exactly what reason personally did he have to oppose that? He certainly was not looking out for the financial best interest of the county.

So why does Wilkes County citizens not follow the news? Can they not afford the newspaper? I glad all of you supporters will enjoy paying more taxes for his $32M building plus the cost of the additional $32M one that he also supports.

And ask yourself why does he continues to lie? Why did he lie about the amount Lowes asked the county for the building? They asked $7M not his reported $10M. His past much be affecting his brain.
