redzone, evolution is believed to have occured over a longggggg period of time. What's to say it's not still happening right now, as we speak and the changes during our entire lifetime will be so minute they are barely noticeable, if at all?

Todd Akin's campaign has responded to my story from earlier this week that revealed, among other things, that Akin believes that abortion providers trick women who aren't pregnant into getting abortions for profit. Unlike with his "legitimate rape" comments, however, this time Akin is doubling down, claiming that this is a common practice.

Based on this guy, I don't think they have to pass any kind of test.

I'm thinking that putting the shapes into the right holes is probably the extent of it. I'm sure even during that test they try to force certain shapes into the wrong holes... lol

Congressman Paul Broun (R-Ga.) said last week that evolution and the big bang theory are "lies straight from the pit of ****."

Broun is a high-ranking member of the House Science Committee, of which Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.) is also a member.

Akin made headlines last month for suggesting that women don't get pregnant from "legitimate rape" because their bodies have "ways to try to shut that whole thing down."
